On November 1st, 2025, our beloved Lucia Padilla Stacy, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering grace. She was the heart of our family-a woman whose wisdom guided us, whose laughter warmed us, and whose kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She lived a life defined by resilience and compassion. Her accomplishments were many, but it was the way she carried herself-with humility, courage, and a gentle spirit-that made her truly extraordinary.

The world feels emptier without her presence, yet our hearts are forever filled with the memories she left behind. She taught us the importance of family, faith, and perseverance, and those lessons will continue to guide us for the rest of our lives. We will miss her presence, her smile, her voice, and the comfort of knowing she was always just a call away, but we find peace knowing she is now resting in the hands of the Lord.

Lucia is survived by her five children: Eddie Stacy, Leslie Nord, Danny Stacy, Deborah Nicholson and Max Stacy, her siblings Richard Mendoza, Lucinda Meyer, Lorina Alvarez as well as 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

We will celebrate her life on Monday December 8 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Rosary at 10:30am with funeral to follow at 11am.
