Margaret Yvonne Couser

Margaret Yvonne Couser passed away at home on August 22, 2026 at the age of 69 in Las Cruces, NM. Her remains are being cared for by Getz Funeral Home, and her cremains will interred in the family grave plot in Tucson Arizona at a later date.

She was born September 10, 1957 in Tucson Arizona to Ben and Yvonne Hoarn and lived there and in Colorado, and New Mexico much of her life. Margaret had many interests and hobbies she loved to do including singing in a choir and playing piano, making stained glass windows, making beautiful pottery, hiking in the mountains, reading romance novels, and most of all being a mother to our two sons Wesley and Andrew. One of her greatest joys was when she home schooled our boys and helped them to excel at math, reading and giving them both a strong foundation for their future educations. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and always made our homes beautifully warm and decorated. Margaret worked at several careers over her life and had some big successes in Real Estate Sales, and Self Employment making and selling hand crafted jewelry.

Later in life Margaret suffered a series of strokes, seizures, and an incurable brain disease which made her life very painful and difficult, and she fought against it hard until the end.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 49 years 247 days Roy Couser, her two sons Wesley Couser and Andrew Couser , and her brother Stuart Hoarn.

Above all else Margaret was a believer and follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may she rest in peace in His loving arms!
