Maria Garcia Corrales

Maria Garcia Corrales, born on May 19, 1959, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away on September 14, 2025. She was a beloved matriarch, a devoted caregiver, and a true family treasure. With an education level corresponding to the 8th grade, Maria dedicated her life to nurturing others and became an indispensable part of the medical caregiving community. Maria was a remarkable mother to her four children: Elena Vela, Norma Paz, Adolfo Corrales Jr., and Victor Corrales. Her love for her children was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Maria's heart swelled with pride for her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who were the true lights of her life. She enjoyed reminiscing about good times spent with her siblings, Lupita, Socorro, Elisa, Bichi, and Cutano, sharing stories that brought laughter and sometimes a heartfelt tear.A passionate cook, Maria was known for her extraordinary culinary skills, particularly her famous Menudo, Chile Rellenos, Brisket, and Shrimp Cocktail. Family gatherings were filled with the delightful aroma of her cooking, bringing everyone together to enjoy her delicious meals and create lasting memories. Maria also loved to shop, always on the lookout for a great sale, which often turned into fun outings with her family.A true "mama bear," Maria exhibited a one-of-a-kind spirit and unwavering strength, serving as a rock for her family during both joyful times and challenges. Whether engaging with loved ones on Facebook or watching her favorite novelas, Maria's joyful energy was contagious. Her heart was a wellspring of love, and she delighted in serving others, embodying compassion and kindness at every turn.Maria leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth that will forever resonate within the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. A Visitation will take place Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel at 5:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Friday, September 19th, 2025 beginning at 2:30 pm followed by burial.
