Maria O. Martinez "aka" Dona Maria, 62, of Rodey, NM, entered eternal life Saturday, January 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 20, 1951 in Mexico, to David Ortiz and Piedad Chavez Ortiz. Dona Maria was a homemaker, beloved member of the community and a 12 year veteran against the fight from cancer. Her greatest admirations was her family, helping all those around her, traveling and visiting in order to converse, share, and make memorable memories. She is preceded by her husband Bernardo Carlos Martinez and is survived by her partner Luis P. Chavez, her two sons Luis David Chavez, Roberto Carlos Martinez and daughter
