Marie (Boots) Southworth passed on October 2, 2024, in her home with her family. She and her twin sister were born in 1928, in Chicago Illinois, to John Poirel and Marie Moynihan Poirel.
She met and married Edward F. Southworth in Las Cruces in 1954. They had four children. Those left to mourn are Dee Bielcik (Mark), Jill Cunniff (Ross), and Edward Southworth (Allison). She is also survived by Grandchildren Coy Lowther, Shanley Cunniff, Kelsey Bajis, Jaymie Bielcik-Nims, Jared Bielcik, nine Great Great Grandchildren, and Nephew Charles Ruelius and family.
She was preceded in death by husband Edward Southworth, daughter Lynn Southworth, grandson Eli Hassell, twin sister Mildred (Mitzi) Ruelius, and brother-in-law Dewey Ruelius.
She loved fishing, travel, photography, her Dear Wonderful Family & her Good Friends!
