Marvin Weinrick Sr., 67, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on October 27, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1959, in Van Nuys, California, and spent nearly his entire life in Las Cruces.
Marvin was an incredibly hardworking, humble man with the biggest heart. He would give you the shirt off his back, even when he had little to spare. He measured his life in the people he loved, and his family meant everything to him.
His sons, Marvin Jr. and Marcos, meant the world to him. His love extended to the women beside them, too— Marvin Jr.’s fiancée, Sierra and Marcos’s wife, Brilyn, whom he loved like his own daughter.
He loved being Dad, but being called Grandpa brought him a special kind of happiness. His three granddaughters—Margo, Lennon, and Westyn—were his greatest joy. “How’s my girls?” was his familiar question, a simple expression of how much he loved them and always wanted to know how they were doing. His first three “grandchildren”—the family’s three dogs—also held a special place in his heart.
Marvin loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, listening to Chris Stapleton, and the occasional Coors Light. Above all, he loved his family. His generosity, humility, and the love he gave so freely will stay with them always.
Marvin is survived by his sons, Marvin Weinrick Jr. and his fiancée, Sierra, and their daughter Margo. His son Marcos Weinrick and his wife, Brilyn; and their daughters Lennon, and Westyn.
A memorial gathering to honor Marvin’s life will be held on November 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
