Mary G. Herrera, 69, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005. She was born January 12, 1936 in Las Cruces to Josepha Gutierrez and Jose Dolores Herrera. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her son Benji Valles of Las Cruces, NM; sisters, Cornelia Herrera, Josephina Ramirez, Simona Herrera, Pabla Salazar, all of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Lori, Joe, Norma, and Johnny; and by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 PM Monday, May 9, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home. A Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM at the St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass is at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be at Dona Ana Cemetery. Pallbearers are members of Mary's family and friends.
