Mary Lynn Blanton

Mary Lynn Smith-Blanton, 83, passed peacefully July 31, 2021. She is survived by her husband Elton (Smokey) Blanton of the family home in Dona Ana, NM. She is also survived by her son Charles of the family home and a daughter Sharon Stratton (Van) of La Luz, NM, and two granddaughters Susanne and Madison Blanton. Mary Lynn was a wonderful homemaker, mother and Christian friend. She worked for LC Public Library, sold Avon products, and taught at the Mother's Day Out at Calvary Baptist Church. She was loved and will be dearly missed. Services will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:00 am Hill Baptist Church, 7974 Dona Ana Rd. A luncheon will be served by the church immediately after service. All are welcome. Burial will take place Monday August 9, 2021 at Hillcrest at 10:00am. Service Information
