Mary Silva, "Tutie" as she was fondly known by so many, 84, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Born on December 29, 1940, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Mary's journey was one of deep devotion to family and quiet acts of kindness that touched so many.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Silva, Sr., her parents Jesus and Lucy Rosales, her grandson Dante Garcia, brother-in-law, Fernando Clark and Sister in-law, Rene Rosales. She is lovingly remembered by her children, daughter Tina Silva, daughter Cindy Dennis and son Larry Silva, Jr. Her legacy continues through seven grandchildren, nine great- grand children, and one great-great- grandchild.

She is also mourned by her siblings, brother John Rosales, brother Fred Rosales "Clara", and sister Rosella Clark. Their shared memories span a lifetime of family traditions and enduring bonds.

Mary had a heart full of compassion that exceeded beyond people to the animals she cared for. She gave shelter to many puppies over the years and found joy in feeding the wild birds that visited her yard and business, Desert Beauty. Her kitchen was often filled with the warm aroma of freshly baked biscochitos -a treat cherished by those lucky enough to receive them.

Her home was a haven of unconditional love and support for family and friends alike. Whether offering a listening ear or a comfort meal, Mary's presence brought peace and reassurance to those around her.

Per her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 from 12 to 4 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 980 N. 17th St., in Mary's memory.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.+
