May Belle Parr, 96 of Las Cruces, NM died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at home. She was born September 19, 1914 in Hamlin, West Virginia to Thomas and Sophia Ullom and was a homemaker. May is survived by her daughter, Carol Hixon and husband Joel of Las Cruces; a daughter in law, Nelda Parr of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph M. Parr in 2003 and a son, Jim Parr in 1995. A visitation will start at 6 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM where the Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will take place at 9 am on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Granger of Las Cruces. PDF Printable Version
