Mildred B. Davis

Mildred B. Davis, 91 of Las Cruces and formerly of Hatch, NM died Thursday, Jan.13, 2011. She was born May 9, 1919 in Santa Rita, NM to Edgar and Rose Patterson Boone. She loved to read, enjoyed the outdoors working in her garden, but her passion was for her family. Mildred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son Larry Morrison and wife Martha of Albuquerque, NM and daughter Karen Bailey and husband Brad of Las Cruces; brother Wayne Boone and wife Dolores of Las Cruces; grandchildren Lauri Morrison, Terry Morrison and wife Cindy, Michael Salazar and wife Keri, Kristen Villas and husband Bryan, Allison Vogann and husband Scott, Rachel Armendariz and husband Daniel, Peter Bailey and wife Lyndsy and Abigail Bailey and by 23 great-grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by two very special people in her life Vincent and Marilyn Bailey. Preceding her in death was her loving husband Aubrey Davis and brothers Ray and Eddie Boone. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be at 10:30 am on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch, NM with Brad Bailey officiating.
