Paul Anthony Duran Profile Photo

A native of Las Cruces, Paul was the son of Rodolfo “Rudy” Duran and Ramona “Honey” Duran. The youngest of 6, he grew up heavily involved in sports, including softball and martial arts.

Inquisitive, creative, and eager to learn, Paul became a man of many talents. His talents included installing stereo systems, auto repair, sales, retail management and business building. He’s been providing exceptional service as the proud owner of Streak Free Cleaning, LLC since 2010. Whether taking care of people, focusing on new specialties, or learning his boys’ favorite games, he excelled in everything he attempted. Paul enjoyed all things gaming and shared his interests with his sons. When they were young, he brought them into the realm of console and PC gaming, which they all enjoyed playing together. That passion expanded into tabletop D&D and the TCG Magic The Gathering and One Piece, through which he met many people who were proud to call him a friend.

Paul was a mentor and confident for many who entered his path. He set the example and guided through his actions, showing patience, eloquence, and encouragement. He was respected in the communities who were fortunate enough to have him, and was an outstanding Father, not only to his family, but to anyone else who wanted one. He was cherished and loved by those who interacted with him as he illuminated every room he walked into with his great smile and comedic personality.

Paul was a devoted family man whose family meant everything to him. His “Bunches” (wife) Sheryl Duran and boys, Cameron and Brendon Duran, and their pug, were his world. He loved to travel by land, air and sea and share new experiences with his family. Whether RV camping with family and friends or cruising to new ports, Paul and his family made lots of great memories on their adventures together.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Ramona Duran, and two siblings. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Duran, and sons, Cameron and Brendon Duran, three siblings and many family members and friends.

Service will be held at Getz Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 beginning with a Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:00 am.
