Dad, the day you left this world was the day we learned how fragile everything truly is. You were your family's #1 Hero & will be missed!!!

With heavy heart's and unimaginable grief we announce the passing of a wonderful soul, a husband, father, brother, grandpa and uncle. Born in Fort Yates, ND to Louis and Dorothy Laundreaux. Pierre was an avid craftsman and cook. He worked as a carpenter and cook and loved mechanics. He loved to hunt and fish with close family and friends and made many lasting memories of what he valued, Family. He was a mentor to all who knew him and always gave the best advice to assist in any situation he could. He was a selfless man who took on the responsibility of raising and molding many young children with wife Celeste as foster parents along with any neighborhood kids who needed guidance or a shoulder to lean on. He always had a smile on his face and always had a good joke to enlighten any dark day you might encounter. He was a very loving and patient man with a heart as big as the moon and he never expected anything in return. If you were blessed enough to have had the opportunity to have created a memory with him, you'd treasure it always. He had the ability to make everything seem so much lighter than it really was, cause as long as you were healthy, you would be just fine. His jokes and contagious laughter will be missed by many but forgotten by none and his memory will continue to live on in the form of every story told about his generosity and kindness, love and devotion, honor and compassion.

 Pierre is survived by his partner of 40 years Celeste Tiger, children Pierre Laundreaux Jr (Angela, Raven,Laila, Serenity, Harmony Laundreaux), Raysa Laundreaux (James Allen, Lynden, Liberty Laundreaux),Macy Tiger, Jamie White, (Julianne White Jayden & Nicole White), Justin Sandmeier (Aileen Sandmeier), Tracy(Penelope) Sandmeier, Deshawnte (Aiden) Cutler, Julian Navarro (Alexa), Jesus Navarro, Maddison & Mackenzie Navarro and his siblings Cyril, George, Leroy Laundreaux, Monique Maxon,& Debbie Sherwood, Annie(Henry)Harrison, Henrietta Laundreaux. Pierre is preceded in death by his Parents Louis and Dorothy Laundreaux, brothers Richard and Louis Laundreaux and daughter Haley Sandmeier. Pierre brought a brightness to every dim lit room and etched unforgettable memories in many heart's to be cherished always right alongside the many beautiful memories he helped create and taught us all to value.
