Richard M. Avalos of Commerce, TX returned home to his heavenly Father on Friday, November 9, 2012. Richard was born to Adolfo "Rudy" and Eva Avalos in Las Cruces, NM on November 19, 1954. He graduated from Las Cruces High School and attended New Mexico State University. His lifetime of employment included working for Las Cruces City Parks, IBP-Amarillo, TX, New Mexico State University, and Texas A&M University
