Robert “Bob” Paul Weinrich August 14, 1953 – May 31, 2026


With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Paul Weinrich, 72, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, on May 31, 2026. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and unconditional love touched countless lives.


Born on August 14, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, Bob lived a life defined by devotion to family, hard work, and generosity. He built a successful career, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Throughout his life, he served as a trusted friend and a source of encouragement to many.


Above all else, Bob's greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband and father who could always be counted on to offer support and love without hesitation. As a grandfather, he treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, creating memories they will carry with them forever. Whether sharing one of his crazy stories, entertaining everyone with his wild antics, or simply being present, Bob had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel valued and loved.


Those who knew Bob will remember his infectious smile, quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty. He had a gift for bringing laughter into any room and finding joy in life's simple moments. His resilience, sense of humor, and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.


Bob was preceded in death by his parents George & Dorothea; his sister, Donna; his brothers, David and Jim; and his brother in-law Kendall.


He is survived by his wife, Rene; his children, Brian, Amanda, and Tiffany (Steven); and his granddaughters, Ceanna and Sadie. He also leaves behind many beloved family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the time they shared with him.


Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we are grateful for the time we shared with Bob and the many ways he enriched our lives. He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, sense of humor, and devotion to family and friends. His memory will remain a source of comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing him.


A celebration of Bob's life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Heart of the World – East Campus, 3940 Sonoma Springs Ave.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join in honoring his memory, sharing stories, and celebrating a life well lived.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, prayers, and kindness shown during this time of loss.
