Robert Diaz Rocha

Robert D. Rocha, 45, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, of Mesquite, NM went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2014, at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Robert was born July 22, 1968 in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Augustina (Tina) Rocha. He was brought to the US at the young age of 2, adopted and raised by his grandfather and his older brothers and sisters. He attended Las Cruces High School and lived in Mesquite, NM. He married Terrie Lascano of San Miguel, NM on November 7, 1981. He dedicated himself as a self-employed Custom Farmer and was well known for his lively character and beautiful smile. Robert was a member of the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. He is survived by his wife Terrie of 32 years, his sons; Richard Robert Rocha of Espanola, NM and Adrian Rocha (Vanessa), of Mesquite, NM, 5 grandchildren; Adrian, Steven, Emily, Sean and Isaiah. He is also survived by brothers David Hernandez, Lubbock, TX, Hector Rocha (Rebecca), Las Cruces, Gonzalo Rocha, Mexico, Efrain Briones, Mexico and sisters Olga Rodriquez (Julio), Phoenix, AZ, Rosa Galvan (Jose), Phoenix, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Augustina (Tina) Rocha, his brother, Noe Rocha and his grandfather Angel Rocha. A visitation followed immediately by prayer service is scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2014 at 6 pm at The Family Worship and Praise Center formerly First Apostolic Church located at 1205 Ridgetop Ave. A funeral service for Robert will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 9 am at The Family Worship and Praise Center.
