Roberta C Evins

Roberta C. Evins, 82, of Fairacres entered eternal life on April 27, 2011 at La Posada - Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles W. Evins. They were both active members of Fairacres Baptist Church. Born Roberta C. Bruce to Bernice Wilbanks and Virgil Bruce in 1929, she grew up on a ranch near Luna, NM. Roberta was a devoted wife and mother who also worked outside the home at the Grant County Court House, and before that served as the Town Clerk for the Town of Hurley for many years. She is survived by her brother Wilson Bruce of Kennewick, Washington, and 4 nieces and their families; her son Michael Evins and granddaughter Heather Evins and grandson Kyle Evins. A memorial service will be held at the Fairacres Baptist Church on May 22nd at 12:30pm. PDF Printable Version
