Mr. Ronald W. Schroeder was a compassionate individual who grew up as a WW2 orphan in a German orphanage before working on a ship and immigrating to the USA. He served in the U.S. military, spoke five languages, and was a prisoner of war for two years. Afterward, he drove a big rig for five years. He had five children, two sons and three daughters, and also leaves behind a stepdaughter. In his free time, he enjoyed computers and bowling, earning several medals in the senior Olympics in Las Cruces, NM. Mr. Ron is survived by his wife Arlene Schroeder and close friend Melissa Lara.
