Sarah Gray Wilborn

Sarah Gray Wilborn, Las Cruces resident since 1950, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. She was born July 16, 1910 in Kenton, TN. to Robert and Lessie Gray. She had been a faithful member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church where she was with the United Methodist Women; a member of PEO Chapter B.F. and the Dona Ana D.A.R. Sarah enjoyed the outdoors, walking, gardening, reading, traveling and playing bridge, but her passion was for taking care of her family. Sarah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Eva Wilborn of Lordsburg, NM; grandsons Scott Wilborn and wife Karen of Houston, TX and Tracy Wilborn of Las Cruces and by her great-grandsons Thomas and wife Rebecca, Brady and Weston. Sarah was preceded in death by her loving husband James Wilborn Sr. and by her son James Wilborn Jr. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held today Friday, March 2, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. James Large officiating. A private burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband James.
