Las Cruces, NM- Savanna Jean Quinlan, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was an active member of the Mission Lutheran Church, where her faith was reinforced. She became lovingly known as the “flower lady,” making sure there were flowers at every Sunday service. She loved reading mystery novels, working word puzzles, and watching the Cubs and Diamondbacks, as well as many other sports. She took pride in her garden, roses, and patio, where she loved watching the birds and hummingbirds and taking care of her tortoise, known as Kathy-Sherman-Tank, for over 50 years. Many of her friends and family will also remember her for the amazing rum cakes she made during the Christmas Season.
