Thomas C. Bachman

Thomas C. Bachman, 67, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. Tom as he was fondly known was born Feb. 25, 1945 in Brownsville, TX, to Fred and Mary Salinas Bachman. He was retired from the City of Las Cruces after many years of faithful service and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mesilla Valley Ward. He enjoyed music and Jigsaw puzzles, but his passion was for his family. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sons Thomas C. Bachman and wife Erin and Erick Bachman and wife Mary both of Las Cruces; daughters Crystal Bachman and companion Thomas Harding, Naomi Maldonado and Tammy Gutierrez and husband Chris all of Las Cruces; father Fred Bachman; brothers Jerry Bachman and wife Diane of Kerrville, TX and Johnny Rey of California. Also surviving him are many grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his mother Mary and a brother Freddy. A visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside services to celebrate his life are at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel. PDF Printable Version
