Victor Alfonso Corrales, born on March 21, 1990, in Las Cruces , New Mexico , passed away on February 17, 2026. He was a kind-hearted soul, known for his infectious smile and selfless nature, often prioritizing the needs of others even while facing his own challenges. A devoted son to Maria Corrales, Victor epitomized respect and love, ensuring that not a day went by without expressing his gratitude and admiration for her.Victor's love for music was a defining characteristic of his life. He was a music and video producer and took immense pride in his creative pursuits. In 2020, he founded his own production company, Las Cruces Road Runnaz Productions, showcasing his dedication to the craft and passion for the art. He was a true loyal friend to his "Homies" those he knew since childhood, They loved being together and sharing the love they had for music. Furthermore, he was a reputable bank teller at First American Bank, where he built meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike, culminating in being awarded Employee of the Year in 2025 for his outstanding contributions to the team.As a sports enthusiast, Victor had a profound love for watching football, with the Denver Broncos holding a special place in his heart, and he equally adored basketball. His laughter was contagious, and he had a remarkable ability to light up any room with his presence. He could always be found with his a camera in hand ready to capture any memorable moment with friends and family.Victor was cherished as "Uncle Murr," an affectionate title reflecting his role as the best uncle and biggest supporter whether it was needing him give great advice or show up as the biggest cheerleader to his nieces and nephews: Jose Paz, Crystal Vela, Stephanie Paz, Xavier Corrales, Prisila Vela, Fatima Villa, Ivan Paz, and Viviana Paz, as well as his nephew Adolfo Corrales III. His humble and respectful demeanor left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.Victor Alfonso Corrales will be deeply missed by his loving family:his sister Norma Paz and Elena Vela; and his brother, Adolfo Corrales Jr. He will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him and the memories shared.
He is preceded in death by his father Adolfo Corrales; his mother, Maria Corrales.
A service is scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026 beginning at 6:00 pm with a visitation at Getz Funeral Home, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at San Jose Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at San Miguel Cemetery.
